Art Ambassador
Occasionally, the Conseil des arts de Longueuil awards the "Art Ambassador" honorary mention to honor an artist or a professional arts organization from Longueuil who contributes, through his or her exemplary artistic achievements, to the promotion and recognition of the arts in Quebec and abroad. This distinction is also accompanied by an original insignia created by the jeweller Dominic Dufour.

The "Art Ambassador" silver insignia features a pivoting central medallion with four stylish "A" on one side, recalling the logo of the Conseil des arts de Longueuil that refers to the various artistic disciplines, and on the other side, an imprint symbolizing the trace left by the artist's creations. This oval shape, openwork and mobile insigna symbolizes an artistic practice that is open to the rest of the world.
