About Dominique Dufour, Owner & Master Jeweler

I studied at the Montreal School of Jewelry (École de joaillerie de Montréal) and finished my training in 2000. Afterwards, I worked with renowned jewelers for several years. After a while, I founded my own studio in Montreal (Quebec) and later on, I moved in the Laurentian region. In 2009, I had the opportunity to take over the Lachute-based studio/boutique of world-renowned jeweler Gilbert Rhême. When he passed away in 2008, he left behind an inspiring creative space in addition to an established clientele. Mr. Rhême, was one of my instructors at the École de joaillerie de Montréal.

In 2011, I opened my current studio/boutique, which is dedicated to jewelry made in Quebec. It is located in Rosemere, a northern suburb of Montreal. I am now fulfilling a dream I had since jewelry school: founding a boutique to showcase Quebec jewelry designers and offer master jeweler services on site, such as: jewelry remodeling, custom-made designs, and repairs.

The boutique concept is unique. We display and sell the creations of 20 Quebec jewelry designers permanently. In addition, I invite other Quebec jewelry designers to showcase their work during three months in our exhibition space.

I share the boutique space with my spouse, owner of nous • vous • ils, which represents the work of over 70 professional artisans.

and creations from several other Quebec jewelry designers.

Exhibition Space

Four times a year, we invite another Quebec jewelry designer to showcase his/her work during three months. Our exhibition space gives Quebec jewelry designers the chance to increase their visibility and our customers love to discover new talents. Sometimes, this space is used to showcase unique pieces that are also displayed in museums or galleries.

We also feature new graduates from the École de joaillerie de Montréal. The most distinguished graduates are offered a first showing of their work for three months in our exhibition space.

Special Events

Throughout the year, we organize special events like « Pearl Day » and « Spotlight on Stones. » This is a great opportunity to meet gemologists and brokers. They prepare a special inventory for each event, so it's a unique occasion to view a wide variety of gems and obtain advice from renowned professionals. Your precious stone purchase can become a unique, custom piece of jewelry according to your inspiration.
